This website is operated and maintained by JCC Driving School ("us", "we" or "our").

JCC Driving School is registered as a data user with the Office of the Information Commissioner.

JCC Driving School uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
  • To provide customer support
  • To record events outside the tuition vehicle during lessons by means of dashcams. Audio inside the vehicles is not recorded.

Retention of Data

JCC Driving School will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Theory Test practice is provided on our behalf by "Theory Test Pro". If you opt in to use this service we will share your telephone number and/or email address with the Service Provider. The Theory Test Pro Privacy Policy can be viewed here.

Card payments are processed by Zettle, a PayPal company, and their privacy policy may be viewed here.


We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

On-line card payments are processed by Zettle, a PayPal company, and their privacy policy may be viewed here.

Children's Privacy:

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 15. (In the UK the legal minimum age for driving a car on public roads is 17, unless the driver is registered as being disabled in which case the minimum age is 16. In order to arrange the provision of the service to a potential disabled driver approaching their 16th birthday the age limit has been set at 15).

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, and/or social messaging prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
